Before getting any help from doctors you need to be register with them. You cannot get any assistant if you are not registered. So before following ill you need to get registered.

So as soon as you come to this country get registered and don't wait, till you get ill. If you are from one of the following country then you are entitled for the free medical treatment under National Health Services as long as you are not suffering from any illness before coming here.

All EC countries:

Belgium , Gibraltar , Portugal , Denmark , Greece , Spain , Eire , Italy , Sweden , France , Luxembourg , Germany , Netherlands .

Non EC countries:

Anguilla, Finland, Norway, Australia, Hong Kong, (UK) Poland, Austria, Hungary, Romania, British, Virgin Islands, Iceland, St Helena Bulgaria, Isle of Man (UK), Turks & Caicos Islands, Channel Islands (UK), Malta USSR, Czechoslovakia, Montserrat, Yugoslavia, Falkland Islands (UK) ,New Zealand.

For all other countries you need to get registered. You can get registered only to the General Physician in your own area, which you stay.
