Course Description

The Pre-Masters (Post Graduate Diploma) is a rigorous business and financial management programme designed to prepare and equip students particularly those from overseas who would like to study business, information technology and e-business at Masters Level, but do not yet have the required experience and qualifications.
The course is based around the study of core and fundamentals of Business, statistic and the development of research skills. The Scott’s College London Pre- Masters programme is a qualification in its own right and is used as a stage one entry qualification to the range of MBA portfolio and specialist masters at the University of Hertfordshire – Business School.

Entry requirements :

• A good honours degree of at least 2.2 classification in any discipline from a UK university (or equivalent overseas university)
  or
  A degree equivalent professional qualification at advanced level and acceptable to the academic admissions
  or
  A postgraduate qualification from a UK university (or its equivalent from a recognised overseas university)
• A minimum of two years of relevant work experience with identifiable responsibility such as the supervision/direction of other employees work or budgetary control
• A minimum age of 24 on entry to the programme

English Language Entry Requirements :

GCSE / IGCSE English Grade C/D or IELTS 5.0 or above or evidence of English ability equivalent to any of the above. However, you will work towards attaining IELTS score of 6.0 prior to entry into the stage 2 (final) of your chosen master’s degree.

Modes of study :

Duration - Full Time - 12 (18 months when combined with MBA or MSc or MA)

Fee : £4000 (excludes universities final fees)

Rigorous and Well Supported Study :

The programme is intensive and consists of a mixture of classroom work, seminars and self-study. Should you have any questions at any time you are encouraged to meet with your tutors who will give you individual attention. Our aim is to provide you with the necessary subject knowledge and study skills required for postgraduate. Although you will need to display personal qualities of determination, self-motivation, enthusiasm and commitment to be successful, you will in return receive guidance and support from staff to help you achieve your objectives.

Progression :

Progression - Pre-Master (PG Dip)

Upon completion you will progress to a range of masters programme (MBA / MSc / MA) with any university that has admitted our students in past.
