Tourism is the world's largest industry with revenues of $500 billion. The ABE Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management qualification links business principles with sector expertise. By choosing this course you will learn the basics about travel and tourism as well as business and accounting essentials.
ABE - Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management (Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma)
No formal qualifications are required but applicants should demonstrate competence in English by the attainment of one of the following:

All candidates must be members of the ABE. Once the students have enrolled at Scott's College London, they will be guided for registration.
1st Year: Certificate Level
The four compulsory subjects are:
1. Introduction to Business
2. Introduction to Accounting
3. Introduction to Business Communication
4. Introduction to Travel, Tourism and Hospitality
2nd Year: Diploma Level
Diploma Part 1

Pass marks :
Successful candidates will be awarded a graded pass in each subject. Credits or Distinctions will be awarded where applicable. All result slips show alphabetical grades; it is not the policy of The Association to disclose marks obtained. Candidates will be allowed to resit any subject which they have failed but not subjects that they have passed.
Examinations :
The three-hour written examinations are held twice a year (usually first week in June and December). There is no limit to the number of subjects candidates may enter for but it is recommended that you sit no more than five subjects at one session.
The candidates need to register separately for the examination. The registration fee is charged per paper. The closing date of registration is two months prior to the actual examination date. The closing date is always displayed on the website and on the examination entry form.
Intake : January - February, June - July, August - September every year.
Career progression :
After completing ABE course students can obtain their bachelor's degree at a number of UK and overseas universities.
